An event is essentially a stream of a particular kind that you want to broadcast. It can be

  1. a general stream with no specific features
  2. an individual competition where individual athletes perform
  3. a match between two teams

The individual competition supports the management of the starting list and the current competitor.

The match contains information about teams line up, time, score and the individual performance of each player

General stream

General stream event contains two tabs

  • Tab "Widgets" contains all the widgets you plan to use in your broadcast
  • Tab "Desks" contains all desks with quick buttons to control widgets and the OBS Studio from other devices in your private network

In general, this type of Event just serves to group your widgets and quick buttons together. If there are few widgets, they can also be managed separately from their consoles without creating this type of Event

Individual competition event contains additionally 1 tab with the option to select a group of participants. To use this type of Event you must have previously created groups with individual participants in the "Data directory" page and at least one bundle with widgets.

In the top right corner of the Competition console you will see a button that opens the settings window for this competition. For newly created events it will be marked with alert icon Settings button. This means additional configuration is required. Open the settings window and enter the competition name, logo and select widgets that will be used to display a table of participants and details about an individual participant. But first attach widgets on the "Widgets" tab.

To do this, enable the corresponding button. Depending on which mode we turn on, that widget will receive the player's data. We have selected widgets for each mode in the match settings dialog.

Now click the "Show" button next to the desired player. The player's data will be sent to the widget.
